This is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot verify custody, release anyone, post bond, or retrieve an official booking file. Contact the public office that holds the record.
Official Records and Custody Contacts
Washington County Sheriff’s Office is the main contact for county jail bookings and related records. The current county page should be the first point of reference because older directories contain nearby but different numbers.

Choose the destination based on the person’s custody stage and the kind of document needed.
- For a Washington County booking record or available photograph, use the county records and request path, then contact WCSO with a full name, date, and arresting agency.
- For a warrant question, use the Most Wanted Fugitives and warrant-check route and verify directly with WCSO or the court. Never approach someone believed to be wanted.
- For a very recent arrest, ask the arresting agency for the incident report and WCSO whether the person was accepted at Washington County Jail. No verified public daily arrest log was located.
- For release status or alerts, use the jail contact or Illinois VINE. A court docket can show case events, but it is not a live custody tracker.
- For Washington County Jail bond, visitation, or facility operations, call the jail. There is no separate facility page and no other county detention site in this project.
- For a person serving an Illinois prison sentence or on parole, use the Illinois Department of Corrections offender search. It does not cover the county’s just-booked population.
- For federal prison custody, use the Federal Bureau of Prisons locator. For immigration detention, use the ICE Online Detainee Locator. A U.S. Marshals detainee may be housed locally, so confirm the holding agency when the custody type is unclear.
